The ENKA gateway (Nederlandsche Kunstzijdefabriek), situated in the heart of Ede-Zuid, offers high-quality apartments for short-stay rentals. The restored historical buildings on the ENKA site create a unique location steeped in history, and you can stay there.

  • How can I reserve one of these apartments?
    Booking an apartment is easy. Tell us which unit you’d like to stay at by sending an email to info@shortstayede.nl.
  • What can I expect to find on the ENKA premises?
    The ENKA premises provide a lively blend of historical, renovated industrial buildings and modern architecture. You can enjoy several types of facilities on the premises and in the immediate surroundings, such as shops, restaurants, nature and cultural events.
  • What kinds of apartments are available?
    We offer a variety of apartments, ranging from units that can house 2 persons to units that can house 4 persons. The floor area ranges from 45 square metres to 100 square metres. Each apartment has unique design elements and comes fully equipped with modern amenities such as a smart TV and Wi-Fi.
  • Are the apartments furnished?
    Yes, all our apartments are fully furnished and equipped with modern comforts and all the kitchenware you will need.
  • How long can I stay at the ENKA premises?
    Our apartments are available to anyone who needs a temporary home for at least one month, but less than half a year.
  • Are pets allowed?
    No, pets are not allowed on the premises.
  • Will I be able to park my car?
    Yes, there are car parks opposite the ENKA building.
  • Do the apartments come with amenities such as Wi-Fi and a washing machine?
    There is a communal laundry room with a washing machine and dryer in the building. Wi-Fi is included in the rental fee.
  • Can I cancel my booking free of charge?
    You can cancel your reservation free of charge up to one month prior to your scheduled arrival date. If a reservation is cancelled less than one month before your scheduled date of arrival, you will be asked to pay 50% of the fee due for the first month.
  • Can I have food delivered to my room?
    Certainly! All apartments are equipped with an intercom system. You can have food delivered by any delivery service in the area.
  • Is it possible to have food delivered?
    Yes, all apartments have an intercom. You can have food delivered by any delivery service.
  • Will I be able to charge my electric vehicle?
    Yes, there are several charging stations in the neighbourhood.
  • Where can I park my bicycle?
    Each apartment has its own storge space on the ground floor where you can park a bicycle. In addition, there is a bike shed for general use on the ground floor. There are places on the grounds where visitors can park their bikes. There are charging stations for electric bikes here, too.
  • What are the check-in and check-out times?
    You can check in after 3pm, and you are kindly requested to check out before 9am.
